Tamil Nadu is recognized as one of the oldest civilizations in the world, known for its rich culture and heritage. The state is one of the most popular holiday destinations in India, offering numerous tourist attractions. The Tamil people adhere closely to their rituals and traditions, including caste systems and community practices.
Marina Beach (Chennai)
My journey began at a stunning location with pristine white sand and crystal-clear blue sea - the longest and most bustling beach in India. Not only is it the cleanest, but it also boasts a diverse range of delicious local street food options for food lovers to indulge in.
The beach is renowned for its cleanliness, however, due to the contaminated water and strong undercurrents, it is not advisable to swim there. Nonetheless, the invigorating climate coupled with the stunning sight of the waves crashing against the golden sands make it a mesmerizing experience. The period between November and February is particularly delightful, with 15,000 to 20,000 visitors flocking to the 12km long beach. The presence of notable buildings in the vicinity, such as the Chepauk Cricketers Stadium, Senate House, and Presidency College, further adds to its charm. A significant surge in visitors can be observed on Pongal day.
The Zoological Park run by Aringer Anna is the largest of its kind in the country. It is modern and scientifically managed, offering a range of online services such as Animal Adoption, Online ticketing, and Virtual Zoo tours via a Mobile App. It is particularly well-suited for children, offering a unique experience inside the zoo due to its lush and verdant surroundings.
Visitors can avail themselves of battery-operated vehicles within the park, at no extra cost. A ride on the Lion & Deer attraction is sure to provide an adventurous experience, although success may depend on a bit of luck! Eco-friendly cycles and electric scooters are also available for rent at an additional cost.
The Kathipara Flyover is a major landmark in Chennai, India, and an engineering marvel that is admired by people from all over the world. This flyover is a complex interchange that connects four major roads in Chennai: Anna Salai, Mount Road, Inner Ring Road, and Grand Southern Trunk Road.

The flyover has also enhanced the city's connectivity and has made it easier for people to travel across different parts of Chennai.
One of the most striking features of the Kathipara Flyover is its unique design. The flyover has a cloverleaf design, which is a rare sight in India. The cloverleaf design allows vehicles to move in a smooth and uninterrupted flow, without any sharp turns or sudden stops.
The Kathipara Flyover has also become a popular spot for photographers and tourists. The flyover offers a panoramic view of Chennai's skyline, and it is particularly beautiful at night when the city lights up.
In recent years, the Kathipara Flyover has undergone several maintenance and renovation works to ensure its longevity. The CMDA has taken several steps to maintain the structural integrity of the flyover, including regular inspections and repairs.

Chidiya Tapu & Wandoor

I still can't share my exact feeling with any one it is so refreshing and i have forget about everything busy work schedule, compete with other people, the anger...everything. And had a peaceful snap under a tree.
