Darjeeling Sightseeing

Darjeeling the word came from "Dorje Ling" is famous for its Natural Beauty and Tea. It is one of the Best Holiday Destination in India and has many tourist Place to visit. When first time I saw this Place the felling was speechless in the month was January, when its climate was extremely cold but my bad luck could not witness the rainfall there. December and January are the winter time there but tourists does not stop going there, some tourists are going in this time to witness the Snowfall only.

Tiger Hill

I remember my cab driver called me at 3am and we started our journey it took us 15-20 mins to reach there the place was fully dark, we had some tea and snacks and started to trek. I had no idea what was waiting for us and finally we reached at the spot it was fully dark ground and nothing was visible more than that. Finally we took a place on a gallery. After some time when slowly the light started to fall on the Himalaya's Mountains the moment was amazing. This was happening first time in my life, I got goosebumps after watching this. The feeling was crazy, and I was lost in my thoughts. Then the sky from the end of the Himalaya's mountain started changing it's colour to orangish and it was a memorable and worthy Sunrise in my life. I will Suggest every tourist to have that experience. The view of Mount Everest & Kanchenjunga is the most attractive place there.

Ghum Railway Station (Darjeeling

Ghum Railway Station is the highest railway station in India 7,407 ft. And it is a good alternative way to Darjeeling. Ghum Railway Station is a World Heritage Site and Popularly known as Ghum Monastery.

Batasia Loop

Batasia Loop is famous for its Spectacular Views of Kanchenjunga and other Himalayan mountains. It is also a better place for photography.

Darjeeling Himalayan Railway

The 9hrs journey New Jalpaigudi to Darjeeling covers 88Km and reaches "the queen of hill" Darjeeling Ghum station at a height of 7,404ft.

It is really a wonderful feeling when a small steam engine pulling many coaches up the steep mountain through breathtaking landscapes and overcoming almost impossible curves and gradients using sheer engineering ingenuity and creative skills.

The Tamil people adhere closely to their rituals and traditions, including caste systems and community practices.

Marina Beach (Chennai

My journey began at a stunning location with pristine white sand and crystal-clear blue sea - the longest and most bustling beach in India. Not only is it the cleanest, but it also boasts a diverse range of delicious local street food options for food lovers to indulge in.

The beach is renowned for its cleanliness, however, due to the contaminated water and strong undercurrents, it is not advisable to swim there. Nonetheless, the invigorating climate coupled with the stunning sight of the waves crashing against the golden sands make it a mesmerizing experience. The period between November and February is particularly delightful, with 15,000 to 20,000 visitors flocking to the 12km long beach. The presence of notable buildings in the vicinity, such as the Chepauk Cricketers Stadium, Senate House, and Presidency College, further adds to its charm. A significant surge in visitors can be observed on Pongal day.

Andaman and Nicobar islands

The stunning combination of endless blue water, lush green mountains, and clear sky creates an awe-inspiring love story of nature. The picturesque white sand beaches add to its charm, surrounded by the deep blue sea. During my encounter with nature, I stumbled upon its crowning jewel, a breathtakingly flawless waterfall. It was then that I finally found the peace my mind had been searching for - a love at first sight.

These islands, a group of 572, are known as the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, with a total population of 4.34 Lakhs.

Andaman Jail Cellular Jail (Kala Pani
Port Blair.

It was a Colonial Prison in India and it was used by the British government for exiling political prisoners to the remote archipelago. Now it is a National Monument. Kala Pani virtually meant Cruelest treatment to the prisoners till Death. The jail each of the seven wing has three stories and there was no Dormitories and a total 696 cells. Each cell was 4.5 X 2.7 meters and night was 3 meters. The cruelest punishment was inflicted upon the prisoners and finally they were hung to death. It was really a different feeling which cannot be explained when you listen to the Light & Sound show. You can still feel the pain and the sacrifices of those political leaders. I could not stop my tears and could feel the inspirations they had.

During World War II, the Japanese invaded the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, taking control of Ross Island. After the war, the island was abandoned and fell into disrepair. For years, the Indian Navy utilized it as a training base, rendering it off-limits to tourists.

 Aberdeen Bazaar

In the evening I decided to go to the main market in Port Blair. It is a big market where everything is available at a costlier rate. After shopping had my dinner in a restaurant opposite to Ghanta Ghar. As next day i need to wake up at early morning I returned to my hotel.

Chidiya Tapu & Wandoor

Started my day with perfect Sunrise watch then we started to trek towards the Suicide Point. It is really a horrible spot where the mountain ends and I don't know how can someone take a decision to end his life by jumping from there...

Then a long drive for about one hour we reach at Wandoor Beach, now once again I am in love. I still can't share my exact feeling with any one it is so refreshing and i have forget about everything busy work schedule, compete with other people, the anger...everything. And had a peaceful snap under a tree.
